Zovirax - Duo

A film for GSK's Zovirax Duo combining real footage, 3D animation and motion graphics, all composited together to explain how the product's dual-action formula works.





The brief for Zovirax Duo was to take a complex product story -- a dual-action formula that works in two distinct ways -- and make it clear, credible and visually compelling for an online audience.

The approach we took was to composite three different elements together: real footage, 3D animation and motion graphics. Each technique was doing a specific job, and the challenge was making sure the three sat together cohesively rather than feeling like separate layers. When it works, that kind of compositing gives a film a depth and richness that any single technique on its own can't match.

The film was used online and on social media to give audiences a thorough understanding of how Zovirax Duo works, following on from the existing television campaign.
