Longform and Original IP

We develop and produce longform animation for broadcasters, streamers, and partners. Our work spans early development, visual worlds, pitch materials, trailers, pilots, and full-series delivery. We focus on character-driven storytelling, diversity themes, strong aesthetics, and animation that feels warm, clear, and engaging. Alongside client commissions, we create our own original IP for preschool, kids, and family audiences.

Frankie Volts

Skater just found out he’s got ADHD

childrens animated TV series - 3d animation

Frankie Volts is a fast, fun kids series about a young skater with ADHD who lives on a canal boat with his mum, his sister Ava, and his pet fox Banjo. Frankie is creative and energetic, and life can be a bit chaotic. The series has plenty of jokes, visual storytelling, and a warm family dynamic underneath to explore focus, friendship, impulse control, and the challenges that come with a busy mind.

Frankie Volts mixes grounded family storytelling with comic moments, 2D inserts from Frankie’s sketchbook, and advice sections made with clinicians and educators. It is designed as a co-view experience for kids and parents and offers authentic ADHD representation.

Sky Kids

Ready Eddie GO!

longform-animation-studio-04

Ready Eddie GO! is a preschool series for Sky Kids that follows Eddie, a young autistic boy who prepares for everyday moments with the help of his vivid imagination. We have produced two full series and earned a BAFTA nomination in 2025 in the Children’s Scripted category.

Each episode blends warm, tactile 3D animation with simple, reassuring storytelling for neurodivergent children and their families. Eddie works through challenges like trying new foods or visiting the doctor, supported by gentle humour and playful adventure scenes. The show has built a loyal audience on Sky and across social platforms, with growing international reach through Aardman’s distribution.

Created by Nikki Saunders and James Murphy.

National Geographic

History – The Interesting Bits

documentary series 2d mixed media animation

We were commissioned by Impossible Factual and National Geographic to deliver animation for the series History – The Interesting Bits, a playful, graphics-driven take on the strange, surprising, and often overlooked corners of history.

With few archive assets available, the show relies on imaginative illustration and quirky animation to bring each moment to life. Across eight episodes and ten minutes of animation per episode, this was a large production involving a full team of artists, designers, and compositors. The final style takes inspiration from classic cut-out humour with a modern, clean finish.

Innerly

Softskills

longform-animation-studio-05

Innerly’s Softskills series is a set of animated situational judgement films designed for online recruitment testing. These films use detailed CGI characters and environments to capture subtle expressions, body language, and other non-verbal cues that support psychometric assessment.

We produced thirty minutes of content across ten environments. The art style is clean, bright, and expressive, striking a balance between clarity and believable character performance.
