frankie-sparks-cover

Frankie is 9 years old, loads of fun, always up for an adventure — and he has ADHD. A funny, energetic, and heartwarming adventure series for all kids 6+, Frankie Sparks helps normalize the experience of a child around the time they’re diagnosed. Fast, funny, and wildly imaginative, Frankie Sparks captures the chaos and comedy of living with ADHD. Its distinctive visual style blends CG with 2D elements (think Spider-Verse), bringing Frankie’s world to life in a fresh, dynamic way.

Packed with energy, visual gags, and laugh out-loud moments, the show makes kids with ADHD feel seen while keeping parents entertained. Designed for co-viewing, it sparks conversations, balancing relatable family moments with Frankie’s whirlwind antics. And with humor, heart, and the occasional farting fox, Frankie Sparks helps families navigate ADHD together— while having a lot of fun along the way.

SKY KIDS

Ready Eddie Go!

longform-animation-studio-04

Ready Eddie GO! is an animated preschool show of 26 * 7 min episodes first commissioned by Sky Kids in 2022. Eddie is a kind, giggly, brilliantly imaginative little boy - who also happens to be autistic. Whatever adventure the day has in store - be it an Easter Egg hunt, a train journey, or a trip to the dentist’s - he always likes to know what’s going to happen in advance.

Ready Eddie Go! offers bitesize ‘how to’ guide for an array of life scenarios: dressing up; exploring new foods; playing a board game; hosting a visitor. Each episode walks Eddie and his pals, step-by-step, through the day’s upcoming activity, with plenty of playful cutaways and fun set-pieces along the way.

Based on Nikki Saunders’ My Awesome Autism books, the show offers colourful and entertaining ‘life primers’ for curious kids - full of imagination, heart, and fun. The series is expertly voiced by Jodie Whittaker, Sanna Kurihara, Grayson Davies and Imran Shebani.

Ready Eddie GO! is available on Sky Kids linear channel, on demand and also on nowTV and apple TV in the UK. Aardman look after the global distribution.

Following the great success of season one, season two is now in production with an estimated launch date of July 2025. animation-production-company-17

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

History - The Interesting Bits

longform-animation-studio-01

‘History is a fascinating peek into how we ended up here, but much of it, frankly, isn't very interesting.’ Hopefully that’s where we come in! We love working on a nice juice telly project so imagine the delight when we were the animation studio commissioned by Impossible Factual / National Geographic to work on a lovely new project – History, the interesting bits!

This is a very graphics driven look into the fun / quirkier parts of history and a delight to work on. Because we’re telling stories about many parts of history with few or no archive assets, it relies heavily on imaginative illustration and quirky animation to bring everything to life.

With 8 eps, 10 mins animation each it was a bit of a whopping production – several months’ worth for a chunky team of artists, animators and compositors. The style we ended up with is like a fresh take on Python, but clean and fresh. Season 2 soon, please!

INNERLY

Softskills

longform-animation-studio-05

This is a series of situational judgment test films for Innerly created for online / app testing as part of a recruitment process. It’s a very visual approach to psychometric testing, with detailed, colourful CGI characters and environments.

Broadly speaking the user is tasked with watching a series of videos and then responses are monitored. The detailed animation allows for a nuanced approach where body language and other non-verbal cues can also be assessed.

It was a big project: 30 mins of content across 10 environments. We’re really pleased with the art style, stylised to an extent, but not distracting from the main subject matter.
