A 2D neon animation for Permira's seasonal greetings, designed to feel festive and inclusive across a diverse global audience.
Seasonal films for financial services clients come with their own set of considerations. Permira operates across multiple markets and cultures, so the brief wasn't just to make something festive, it was to make something that could travel, landing warmly without defaulting to a single cultural reference point.
The neon treatment gave us a visual language that felt celebratory and distinctive without being tied to any one tradition. There's something about neon that lends itself to this kind of work: it's inherently warm, it has energy, and when it's animated well it has a life to it that static illustration can't match. It’s Christmassy!
Permira are one of our favourite clients to work with, and seasonal briefs like this give us the creative room to do something a little different.
