LSEG - Post Trade

A 2D animated finance film for LSEG, visualising how LCH navigates clearing services, risk management and financial regulation.

We love a challenge. Being asked to visualise clearing services, risk management and how LCH intelligently navigates regulation was exactly our kind of brief.

A set of beautiful illustrations gave us the creative springboard. From there the team built a 2D animated world of epic landscapes, warm dramatic colour and fluid camera movement — the kind of animation that feels a world away from a typical finance film.

The palette, the cinematic scenes, the movement — all of it combines to deliver something that’s genuinely moving, despite the intricate subject matter. 2D animation can carry real depth and resonance when the craft is right.

Hocus Pocus Studio specialises in taking difficult concepts and making them beautiful. It’s especially useful in finance, where the terminology can be dense and the stakes for clarity are high. Take a look at our finance animation work for more examples.
